By accessing or using Synclet ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
2. Description of Service
Synclet is a product-first development platform that enables users to:
- Create product prototypes from natural language descriptions
- Generate visual designs for web and mobile applications
- Define product specifications, features, and user journeys
- Export product definitions to various AI coding tools
- Share prototypes with others via public links
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
You may use certain features of the Service without an account. To access full features, you must create an account by signing in with Google. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account secure.
3.2 Account Responsibility
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.
3.3 Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
- Create, share, or distribute harmful, illegal, or offensive content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without permission
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you create using the Service, including product descriptions, prototypes, and specifications. By using the Service, you grant us a license to host, store, and display your content as necessary to provide the Service.
5.2 Our Service
The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Synclet and protected by intellectual property laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used without our prior written permission.
5.3 Feedback
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide about the Service may be used by us without any obligation to you.
6. Subscription and Payment
6.1 Free Tier
We offer a free tier with limited features. Usage limits apply as specified in your account dashboard.
6.2 Paid Subscriptions
Paid subscriptions provide access to additional features and higher usage limits. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
6.3 Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees due.
6.4 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until then.
6.5 Refunds
Refunds are generally not provided for subscription fees. However, if you believe you are entitled to a refund due to service issues, please contact us within 30 days of the charge.
7. Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SYNCLET, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
- Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
- Any content obtained from the Service
- Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months prior to the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Synclet and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in our jurisdiction.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision will be modified to reflect the parties' original intent.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
